Create a Stakeholder’s Economy through community and connection, leveraging our shared power for collective action among Certified B Corporations and engaging with local communities through policy and advocacy.
Engage & Connect
Build spaces and events for connection, engagement, networking, and community building. We provide local, in-person opportunities for B Corp employees to strengthen the health and efficacy of our B Corp companies.
Awareness & Growth
Increase and foster the positive impact of the local B Corp communities by driving businesses and employees to support fellow B Corps, and help propel the movement of using business as a force for good throughout our partnerships.
Equity & Justice
Support collective action for Climate Justice, Racial Equity, and B Lab’s theory of change by directly engaging with impact issues in our state, spotlighting challenges that stand in the way of achieving a just, equitable future.

Work allows me to travel to new communities and help a wide variety of industries with sustainability goals. Being able to truly be a force for good with my work makes my heart smile. So does being outdoors which is what I am doing at any chance I have away from my computer.

I am a dedicated and innovative community builder, passionate about delivering solutions that drive positive, sustainable change. My mission is to empower communities while advancing the clean energy transition. Most recently, my experience is focused in the clean energy industry. I manage high-value client relationships, drive tailored renewable energy strategies, and focus on expanding client partnerships and uncovering new revenue opportunities. Outside of work, I love skiing, hiking, backpacking, biking, and exploring new places through travel.

Christine has been involved in corporate social responsibility for over a decade, helping companies of all sizes and in multiple industries implement responsible business practices. She enjoys exploring all that Colorado and the world have to offer, and partakes in a variety of sports including hiking, running, yoga, swimming, and cross-country skiing. She has been fortunate to live in Canada, Europe, and the UK and travels to other continents including Africa and Asia. She enjoyed her time teaching English as a Foreign Language and loves meeting new people and learning about other cultures.

Mike is a management consultant with 14 years of experience working in transformational change; turnarounds, acquisitions/post-acquisitions, and pivots. He has varied experiences across a range of industries including Education, Energy, Food Manufacturing, Media, Real Estate, and Utilities in the nonprofit and private sectors.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys food (both cooking it and going out to eat), travel, and spending time with his wife and kids.

Maddie has worked at branding, advertising and marketing agencies throughout her career. She is currently an Art Director for Global Prairie, a proud B Corp with a Denver office in Cherry Creek. Before joining the Global Prairie team, she worked for Scream Agency (another B Corp advertising agency) and has been involved in the B Local Colorado community for several years. She loves meeting new B Corps, and is excited to make a greater impact for the B Corp Community through her role on the B Local board.

Vermilion is a full-service, women-owned creative agency in Boulder CO that builds impact for brands through marketing and advertising.

Emanuel is a fundraising professional who strives to connect nonprofit organizations and businesses fighting for the same positive change. At iDE, a CO based nonprofit powering rural entrepreneurs to build climate-resilient businesses, Emanuel works with corporations looking to have a sustainable impact with the world's most vulnerable communities. He is passionate about sharing the the impact story of iDE’s B Corp partners and driving resources to those most affected by a far too long history of profit over people and planet. He also loves skiing, local Denver music, and puzzles that are not very hard.

Ashton Caldwell serves as the Associate Manager of Sustainability at Horizon Family Brands—home to Horizon Organic, Maple Hill, and Wallaby Organic. With hands-on experience supporting more than seven Certified B Corporations, Ashton offers a strong foundation in sustainability strategy, certification readiness, and stakeholder engagement. She earned her MBA in Corporate Sustainability from Colorado State University.

Justine Zawatski is a director on the Strategic Engagements team at JFF. She leads JFF’s external engagements and partnerships for organization-wide initiatives, including JFF’s flagship summit, Horizons. Her skills and areas of expertise include: strategy, fundraising, project and program management, partnerships and stakeholder management, event planning, and logistics. Before joining JFF, Zawatski was a program manager at nonprofit organizations Upwardly Global and SEEC, where she led community partnerships and management of direct service programs, teams, and operations for regional and national workforce development initiatives.

Based in Denver, Colorado, Lauren is a people first HR leader with 10+ years of experience. She is passionate about creating inclusive spaces and bringing authenticity to all relationships, work and personal. Working in the B Corp space is incredibly motivating and inspiring to her and she loves being able to combine her love of people with doing good in the world. In her free time, she loves to travel, expand her plant collection, craft, ski, hike and camp, and be outside however possible.

With 12+ years of experience crafting award-winning campaigns and digital products for brands like National Geographic, Microsoft, and Pew Charitable Trusts, she specializes in audience-driven transformation. A lifelong speculative fiction fan, she finds inspiration everywhere to shape the future—for both her clients and her two children.

Erin believes when people connect with their purpose, they can achieve big things. She loves using facilitation, training, coaching, and change management to bring people together in shared strategy, clear communication, and healthy teamwork to achieve goals. During her early career in journalism, Erin brought her curiosity to radio, television and print media. A fun fact is Erin taught English in China. She taught college and led Public Speaking for the Professional. Erin founded Colorado 50-50 to support women of all backgrounds and abilities to step into public leadership.

At Danone North America, I work on the Mission & Sustainability team, focusing on driving value through Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege to lead one of the world's largest B Corp recertifications, work on clean energy grids, develop a blue carbon credit strategy, support communities in natural disaster recovery, and train Fortune 500 executives in best-of-class ESG practices. I am passionate about connecting the world to make it a better place, one business at a time. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, scuba diving, and supporting marine conservation work.
