What is BLD?

BLD stands for B Corp Leadership Development. It's an opportunity for all employees of Certified B Corps to connect, engage and grow within our community. We when say “all employees” we mean it! We encourage members of your team from all areas, levels and functions to join us so they can feel the passion and power of the B Corp community, creating greater impact within your own organization.

BLD Mountain West is one of six BLDs happening this Spring. The others are Bay Area, New England, Pacific Northwest, Ontario and Western Canada.

This event is organized completely by volunteers and will be funded by generous donations from B Corps in the region, as well as ticket sales to the event. If you and your company would like to get involved, please let us know!

Who's invited?

All employees at all levels from any Certified B Corporation in Colorado, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Utah, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Arizona. We strive to build an inclusive community and welcome people from all races, ethnicities, genders, ages, abilities, religions, sexual orientations, and professional roles.

WHAT TO EXPECT

BLD Community

Identify with B Corp peers and thought leaders around common themes. Through communal support, attendees will come out with a fresh perspective on how to amplify their impact and inspire peers, their community and the world.

BLD Excitement

Together we can dramatically improve individual and organizational influence. Attendees will learn best practices from fellow B Corps on how to use their certification as a platform to take charge and offer solutions to the world’s social, economic and environmental challenges.

BLD Momentum

Apply what you learn through participatory breakout sessions to advance our collective mission. The goal of BLD Mountain West is that attendees walk away inspired with concrete ideas, long-term strategies and the tools needed to take action.
